Step 1 — Choose your home institution

Your home institution is where you register for classes, receive grades, apply for financial aid, and from where you will be awarded your degree on successful completion of the program. Each home institution may require that you take a class or classes on the campus. Most students choose the school that is closest to where they live. Follow the links below to find out more about each participating institution.

Step 2 — Apply for acceptance.

Students interested in applying to the BSN@Home program must submit the demographics form. Upon receipt of your demographics form an advisor from your chosen home institution will contact you. Once you have spoken to an advisor you can apply for admittance to your home institution. You may apply on-line to all BSN@Home program home schools by going to apply.wisconsin.edu.

Note: It is highly recommended that you talk to an advisor before applying for admission to your home institution.

Step 3 — Verify Your Computer System

The BSN@Home program requires that you provide a computer and an Internet connection, preferably high-speed, for your online courses. This link will verify that your system will be able to run the online course management software. You can also view an online course.

The BSN@Home program is provided through the University of Wisconsin System,
administered by Collaborative Nursing Program consisting of the following schools:
UW-Eau Claire, UW-Green Bay, UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee and UW-Oshkosh.
